FIRST AND THIRD GRADE TEACHER

I feel very grateful for working at this school because from the year that I started teaching until now, I have seen many needy children continuing from the first grade to the sixth grade... They have grown very much!

I can also realize the importance of our project and how incredible changes the children have when, for different reasons, they have to leave the School. For example three years ago, I had a child in my classroom but he left the school and now he has changed in a negative way his behavior, I feel sad when that happens.

I've been a teacher for the last 5 years, I took this profession because I knew that teaching people we can change the reality our society.

I teach at HOPE School because I am concerned about the future of this kids. Without education they will take the wrong paths and I wish this reality could be different.

My vision for the kids is to have many professionals at the Linea ferrea, their neighborhood.

My vision for the HOPE school is to have a better building and the sufficient space and resources to help many more students.

Due to the bad conditions in which the kids live they are not accepted in other places and the majority decide not to continue studying, that is why I am sure this project is very important.

I live in a place called Boca del Monte more than an hour and thirty minutes from the School, I take two public buses to come there.

Thanks to my job I am able to help with my family with all the expenses. Specifically with the food pantry expenses and I also help my younger brother to go to school.

I like spending my free times sharing time with my family and friends, all of them are from Church.
